I have just bought a14000 Magnavox portable air conditioner. When the compressor comes on it sounds like paper flapping in the back. It does not make this sound when only the fan is blowing. If I remove the hose the flapping sound stops. There is nothing in the hose or obstructing the hose. Any suggestions? The manual says it is normal to hear a gurgling sound but it sounds like thin paper.
