Right from Pageplus 8, till the latest Affinity 1.1 I observe a common issue The display of Tamil unicode fonts is not proper especially on conjuncts but when we print the text every thing is good. (I do not directly print with a printer conected to my pc but get a pdf which shows the text correct). In Publisher when a text is typed, in the work area it is not proper but in the text frame on the RHS panel, the typed word is shown correctly. So Tamil unicode is supported by Affinity. The team has to make it reflect on the work space .

My best guess is that there is no solution for ShareLaTeX/WriteLaTeX at the moment. As far as I know, there is no font in TeX distribution supporting Tamil. There is/was support for Omega, see tamil-omega, but you cannot run it. Even an example in itrans-xetex uses the JanaTamil font which must be installed somehow. There is a great support for Indic fonts in T1 encoding created by Karel Píška, but you cannot install it on those servers by yourself.
If someone embeds their presentations because of custom fonts to share it and present using another compacter, are they able to edit it in that presentation computer using (without losing) the unique font? Such as adding new words in a presentation and those new words being consistent with font use.

Some OpenType Pro fonts may not type into a Word document correctly. This is occurring most noticeably with Pro fonts that have CE glyphs and sort at the bottom of Word's type menu. When you place the text cursor into the middle of a word or at the end of a line that is already formatted as an OpenType Pro font, the formatting of the word changes to the default MS Word font. When you place the cursor at the end of a line of text and begin typing, all subsequent text will be formatted in the default MS Word font. 2ff7e9595c
